The Mekong Delta is a key food producing region with rice production accounting for over 50% of the country’s total rice production and contributes over 80% of its annual rice output. However, the production of rice in the Mekong Delta is not pretty high due to small scale system, mainly using laborers, lacking modern machines with high efficiency and accuracy, leading to high production costs, low leverage.

Therefore, the Rice Festival and the High-tech Agriculture Exhibition offers an opportunity for farmers and enterprises to approach the production process and to cultivate a clean and safe agriculture. , contributing to raise the value of rice and hi-tech agricultural products in the Mekong Delta.

More than 40% of the companies participating in the booth specialized in providing mechanical machinery for agricultural products include:  color sorter machine, farm dryer, silo system, As a result, the company is able to meet the high demand for export to Western European markets.
